To describe what a mesology consultation entails, it is good to briefly explain what mesology is.
Mesology is a concept in medicine in which regular knowledge (anatomy, pathology, neurology, physiology) is complemented by knowledge from complementary medicine (Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ayur Veda (literally knowledge of life, India), Orthomolecular medicine, Homeopathy, Phytotherapy (herbalism)).
Each person is unique and therefore has individual experiences and unique interactions with their environment (nutrition, weather conditions, work and social situations, etc.). Every person, organ and cell strives for its optimal balance. As long as we are healthy, we are in our “personal balance. Sometimes we face circumstances that disrupt our balance which can cause dysfunctions.
CONSULT
The consultation consists of a short conversation, wrist, tongue and abdominal examination. Then, on the hands and feet, 80 -100 acupuncture points are measured with Electro Physiological Diagnostics (EFD).
Based on this information, a picture emerges that identifies disturbances, deficiencies and dysfunctions. Then, based on regular and complementary medicine, remedies are sought that can bring the body back into balance. The choices are based on knowledge but are tested against the body. The remedies are brought into the measuring circuit and thus it is measured on the various organs and body systems whether a remedy works. This is a clear added value of mesology.
Communicating with the different parts of the body in a painless, quick and precise way where, before the remedies are purchased, it is clear whether a remedy suits you. Besides determining the most appropriate therapy, I also examine a number of frequently eaten foods to see if they are well digested or contribute to the symptoms. If the research shows that certain foods are not well tolerated, this may result in dietary advice, but this is not always necessary.
