Mesology
In my consultation I combine my knowledge from mesology, orthomolecular therapy and kPNI (Clinical Neuro Psychology). On this page I explain what mesology is.

MESOLOGY
Mesology combines Western scientific knowledge with traditional healing methods such as Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and homeopathy as well as Electro Physical Diagnostics(EFD). As a result, it looks at the underlying causes of health problems through various angles.

Ayurveda
An ancient Indian healing method, sees humans as part of nature. According to Ayurveda, the body consists of three bio-powers, also called doshas:
Vata (elements of air and ether)
Pitta (elements of fire and water)
Kapha (elements of water and earth)
Everyone has a unique combination of these three doshas, which determines personal constitution. These forces are also reflected in the seasons, ages, diet and conditions. When the balance between these doshas is disturbed, health issues can arise. Curious what your dosha is? Enter your email and fill out the questionnaire!
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
(Clinical Psycho Neuro Immunology)
TCM focuses on promoting the natural flow of energy (Qi) in the body. Important concepts are:
- Yin and Yang: the balance of opposing forces
- Qi: the life energy that must flow unimpeded
- The Five Elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood
- The Meridian System: energetic pathways in the body that connect to organs
From Ayurveda and TCM, pulse and tongue diagnostics are applied.

Electro-Physiological Diagnostics (EFD).
Another important part of mesology is Electro-Physiological Diagnostics (EFD). This is a painless method in which the electrical resistances of the skin at acupuncture points are measured, especially on the hands and feet. Each acupuncture point is connected to a specific organ or organ system. By measuring deviations in resistance, (dis)balance can be determined. Among other things, food intolerances can be mapped with EFD.

Testimonials

‘Mesology is, for me as a yoga teacher, the missing link that makes imbalance measurable. Already after a first visit Dafna knew ‘how to put her finger on the sore spot’ and thanks to concrete nutritional advice (fitting my body type and the stage of life I’m in) supplemented with some supplements I felt immediate improvement to my surprise. Thanks to her expertise, I don’t have to experiment supplements myself or swallow them unnecessarily.
Dafna is very knowledgeable, listens, observes and shares her knowledge. Her holistic approach I can recommend to anyone.’

‘I experienced Dafna as a super committed person who has a lot of knowledge and insight and gives space for her own input. Her personal drive to help me understand my system better and the support were very motivating. She has given me many great additions to lifestyle and nutrition so that I now experience more energy and peace. Some adjustments did take effort, but it was more than worth it. Thank you Dafna!

‘For a long time I had been suffering from abdominal complaints which lately became so bad that I had even lost 5 kilos unwanted. I then tried to avoid various food products from my diet. From lactose to leeks, but nothing really seemed to help. Until mesological examination revealed that I have a gluten intolerance. I had not tried that and had never thought of it myself. Dafna also prescribed all kinds of supplements which had an immediate good effect. After a week my stools were stable again and I gradually started to feel fit again. A year later I am back to my original weight. Dafna has helped me fantastically and I can recommend her to anyone!
